EXCITING NEWS!!! We would like to inform you that our clinic’s are opening for May 19th! We have opened online booking, We are working on contacting our patients to let you all know. Some of the hours have changed for the therapists, as there are now further guidelines we need to follow. We have stepped up the cleaning process in our clinic. As before, everything will be wiped down between patients. Towels, and pillow cases will also be changed between each patient. The cli...nic will also be fully cleaned every hour. We are requesting that each patient that comes into the clinic, bring their own mask, it can be anything that will cover your mouth as a mask will have to be worn throughout the treatment, and entirety of the time in the clinic. We will also be getting patients to wash their hands before and after the treatment. As an added step of precaution, we will be using a temperature gun to check EVERY patient’s temperature, to ensure they are safe to enter the clinic. We also ask that if someone comes with you, they please wait in the car or outside the clinic(certain circumstances will be accepted). This is to limit the number of people in our office at each time. If you are feeling off, have flu or cold like symptoms, or cough we ask that you please let us know before you come to the clinic as we will not be able to see you. In efforts to ramp up the response to the COVID 19 Pandemic, healthOne and Westside Physiotherapy Clinics will be following the strong recommendation of PABC and CPA to close the clinics, with the exception to treat urgent care cases, and follow the social distancing recommendations extended by the Public Heatlh authorities across BC and the rest of Canada. Please note: 1. Clinic Closures The closure is effective as of 7:00 pm PST March 17, 2020 and will remain in effect unti...l April 5, 2020 or until these recommendations have been updated by our governing bodies. 2. Urgent Care Services: The clinics will continue to treat urgent care cases requiring immediate attention e.g., post-op, wound care or conditions that require treatment to prevent permanent or long-standing impairments. These cases will be triaged by a therapist and referred to our administrative staff to set up appointments. If you are unsure if your care is considered urgent, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] and we will direct your inquiry to the attending therapist. Some treatments may be able to be provided via telerehabilitation. We are working to make this available to appropriate clients.
