I don't know about you, but sometimes we feel that new COVID-19 information is being sent to us more often than we change our tightie whities. It is both frustrating and disheartening to watch our number worsen day by day. With that in mind and to help cut through some of the confusion, we are introducing the Myth vs Fact Series. Don't worry! It's not your typical Blah Blah that you skip over in your umpteen COVID-19 Update emails. It's a kind of tongue and cheek approach to... ensure we keep our sense of humour (and 6 ft apart) while we wait for that little round bandaid on our arms! Over time, we will post numerous Myth vs Fact pictures. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them!

The The oz store is the very first legal cannabis store in Orléans, Ontario. The Oz Store allows people to access the highest quality of locally-sourced cannabis based products. They have established a clean and safe environment where anyone will feel comfortable. Their electronic learning tools and knowledgeable staff will help guide you on various products and their effect on well-being. Cannabis plants have been grown since at least the 3rd millennium BCE. Evidence suggest... that it was consumed at least 2,500 years ago in the Pamir Mountains, a mountain range in Central Asia at the junction of the Himalayas and the Tian Shan and Karakoram ranges. Although subject to legal restrictions for much of the 20th century, Cannabis was legalized in Canada in 2018. The OZ Store is proud to be the very first legal Cannabis store to open in Orleans, and look forward to serving you. Unfortunately, given the stay at home orders in place, Fetes Frissons has been cancelled this year. So we are introducing the Orléans Winterlude Challenge. Let's put a smile on our friends and neighbors’ faces. We are challenging you to create snowmen, snow women, snow pets, igloos and forts in your yards at home or or your place of business. Grab some food coloring and a shovel, bring out your snow people’s attire of choice and be creative! Whatever your heart's desire! ... Winterlude can be as simple as a safe walk around your neighborhoods this year. Let’s put some smiles on faces! #cavabienaller #snowman #heartoforleans See more

Ontario Extending Stay-at-home Order Today, the Ontario government announced that it is moving to a regional approach and maintaining the shutdown in the majority of the public health regions in Ontario, including the Stay-at-Home order and all existing public health and workplace safety measures. The province will gradually transition each region from the shutdown measures to a revised and strengthened COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. It is propose...d that the Stay-at-Home order will continue to apply to the Ottawa public health region until Tuesday, February 16, 2021. What does this mean? The shutdown and stay-at-home orders are still in effect in our area and we must still follow the applicable rules (regulations and orders) under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act and the Reopening Ontario Act. #heartoforleans #ontario https://news.ontario.ca//ontario-names-newmark-as-site-sel
