Sweet Rose was in the studio this week for her one year session! I am so glad her moms vision was hoop wreaths as I have been wanting to do a session with this look for quite sometime! This sweet darling is so precious and I am so honoured her parents asked me to photograph this big milestone!

Darling little Sara came in for her newborn photos this week and oh my goodness was she ever so sweet! She did soooo good through her whole session! I had such a great time with this wonderful family and testing out the new set up in the studio! How cute are those sibling shots? My heart was just melting with how sweet these two were with their baby sister <3

Why YES I design each cake smash set up myself and no 2 are the same to date! My cake smash bookings have exploded this year! I am loving pushing my creative nature. This set up is going up tomorrow for my dear friends sweet little girl and I can't wait to show you all how it turns out

Reminiscing about Megan and Aaron's beautiful wedding! It was a hot and humid day in June. At the International Peace Gardens which was so fitting because Aaron is American and Megan is Canadian. I didn't know these two much before their wedding. We had a video chat when they were interviewing photographers, we did their engagement session in the freezing cold winter and then their wedding.... Being apart of their day was truly an honour. Their love is rock solid as it was clear the foundation they built their relationship on. A love for God. During their reception I focused alot on them and their interaction with one another and had my second shooter focus more on the guests. I managed to snap these two beautiful images of them just embracing one another during their dances. The first very candid full of laughter and love... the second if you look closely a single tear running down Megan's cheek. I can only imagine what she was thinking in that moment... but I could imagine it was thanking God that she found her forever Husband. This whole wedding from the small details, the location, the guests and their wonderful families... is one that I will always remember. I strive to capture the beautiful images that reflect you as a couple... and everything that happens in between... like these ones. Full of emotion that you can feel.
