. LOOKING FOR MONTHLY DONORS As we are getting ready for the winter months, we have seen that we have lost some of our monthly donors. We totally understand because of COVID, people may not be in a position to help anymore and we genuinely appreciate all the help they have given . However, this does put us in a bit of a pickle because we rely on the monthly donors through the winter to cover our utilities and keep the lights on. Heaven's Wildlife Rescue Rehabilitation & Education Centre (HWR)is a volunteer-based organization that rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife with th...e goal of returning them back to the wild. Over the last few years, HWR has been able to release 85% of its rescues. HWR is not funded by any government services and relies on donations and fundraising events to keep the centre running. We have had people ask us what they can do to help when they find an injured animal on the road? First step: be prepared!! You will need to keep these items in your trunk: ... 1. A Rubbermaid / Sterilite Bin 2. A thick / heavy blanket 3. A pair of welding gloves Second Step: SAFETY FIRST!! Only help if it is safe to do so. Do not put yourself at risk! We want to extend our most sincere gratitude to those of you who are sending us financial support. We wish we could thank each of you with an email reply, but we are barely keeping up with feedings. Please know that your help is what’s keeping us going and motivating us to take on more and more wild babies . Believe it or not...a shower is considered a luxury item for us at the moment, sad but true. ... During Covid19 restrictions, we cannot have the help we normally would have and we are seriously struggling. The babies are still coming with no care or concern about the pandemic. We cannot turn them away, they desperately need us Your kindness really makes a difference and we can’t thank you enough . We really appreciate you!

During COVID it has been incredibly difficult for us to do any type of fundraising. We are so grateful to those that have come up with unique and amazing ideas this year to help raise the funds we need. This is another example in action! Today Phoenix crossed the rainbow bridge His Mom Callie Sayers wanted to honour him in a positive way. She made a donation in his name to the rescue so that his memory can help other animals in need. What a wonderful way to celebrate his life, he was clearly very well loved ... Thank you so much Callie for your donation we are very grateful and hope that your heart heals in time.

We are in search of an experienced drywall volunteer to help us! When COVID struck, we were in the middle of fixing and repairing the intern bathroom It is functional, but not finished. We were hoping someone would be willing to help us finish this off?

OH MY GOODNESS Can you believe this? We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw what these two awesome little girls did for their birthday’s again this year! Arbor and Lakyn spent 2 weeks collecting all of these amazing items and $605.00 in place of birthday gifts to help our wildlife patients at the rescue . ... UPDATE We are sad to report this little guy had internal Injuries and bleeding, we tried our best, and sadly he did not survive Thank you everyone for your support and help, we really appreciate you ... Raccoon Rescue in progress .... Peggy & Heaven were driving back home and found this little one in the middle of the road. He/she was just hit by a vehicle and was lifting his head, moving around, scared and alone He is in shock for sure! This is a juvenile raccoon from this year and he/she deserves a chance. They are en route to the clinic to assess the extent of injuries. We will update you as we know more!
