Dear AARC Friends, It has now been just over a week since AARC transitioned to providing 24/7 residential treatment to our clients. Things are going well in the Centre, and the clients and staff are safe and healthy. To date, there have been no cases of COVID-19 in our population. The AARC Clinical Team is working around the clock to support our families and are true pillars of strength. We are overwhelmed with gratitude at how many of you have chosen to support AARC through ...this crisis. AARC alumni, graduates and friends have stepped up with financial support, messages of hope for our staff and clients and needed items for the Centre. Parents in treatment have been working hard to make sure their children continue to receive quality addiction treatment (please see attached letter from the Chair of AARC's Parent Executive). We are proud to be part of such a caring community. Thank you. AARC's 2020 Miracle Gala, scheduled for May 6, has officially been cancelled. If you were planning to attend, please consider donating the cost of your ticket or table to help AARC support families through the COVID-19 pandemic at https://www.canadahelps.org//aarcs-2020-miracle-gala-camp/. To support our fundraising efforts, and to provide a little fun while social distancing, our popular silent auction will be running online from April 20 May 4, with many exciting items to bid on!
