Meet Our Team Part 6 Alexia Androsoff, Legal Assistant Alexia is a certified Legal Administrative Assistant and graduated with Honours from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she excelled in her courses and training. As part of her program, she began a two-week practicum under Danielle Glass mentorship and quickly realized her passion for working in family law. After finishing her practicum, she became a permanent member of our team.... When Danielle and Beth formed their partnership in August 2019, Alexia was instrumental in the process and worked hard to ensure a smooth transition for clients amidst the change. Whether she is assisting with court preparation or drafting correspondence, she is happy to help our clients and keep their matters on track. In her home life, Alexia enjoys spending time with her family and teaching her younger sister, Ashlyn, to speak French. She is an avid traveller and has travelled to Las Vegas, London, and Paris. She has also enjoyed playing competitive soccer and softball since she was young.

Meet Our Team Part 5 Elizabeth Hall, Senior Paralegal Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in family law and 15 years of experience in estate law. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to continually updating her knowledge and skills to better serve her clients.... After taking a keen interest in helping families through separation, Elizabeth decided to change her profession from Medical Office Assistant to Legal Administrative Assistant. She obtained her Certified Legal Assistant Diploma, graduating with Honours and a Certificate of Excellence and worked her way up to become a Senior Paralegal. After working for many years in a downtown Vancouver law firm and as a freelance paralegal, Elizabeth decided to settle into a workplace closer to home and joined Hepburn + Glass Lawyers in August 2019. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her children and three grandchildren (with a fourth on the way). When she is not surrounded by her family, she enjoys reading and crafting.

Meet Our Team Part 4 Celeste Cuthbertson, Articled Student + Incoming Associate Lawyer Celeste approaches the practice of law with enthusiasm and diligence. She treats each client with compassion and ensures that they feel heard throughout the process. Her practice focuses primarily on family law and she has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.... Originally from Mission, BC, Celeste holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in Political Science and Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. During law school, Celeste worked as a legal intern at West Coast LEAF and volunteered with the Halifax Refugee Clinic and Elizabeth Fry Society. She was also published in the Dalhousie Journal of Legal Studies, with her paper entitled Statutory Recognition of Indigenous Custom Adoption: Its Role in Strengthening Self-Governance Over Child Welfare. Celeste began articling with Hepburn + Glass Lawyers after finishing law school and she is excited to stay on with the firm as an associate lawyer. Outside of the office, Celeste enjoys kickboxing and spending time with her Corgi.

Meet Our Team Part 3 Olivia Du, Associate Lawyer Olivia is a problem solver who enjoys finding creative ways to best assist her clients. She is currently an associate lawyer and practices primarily in both family and immigration law.... Olivia joined Hepburn + Glass Lawyers in 2019. Prior to this, she articled and worked at a litigation boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver where she honed her advocacy skills in a broad array of legal fields. Olivia has appeared on behalf of clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Refugee Protection Division. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western University, a Masters of Science from the University of Waterloo and a law degree from the University of Ottawa. In law school, Olivia volunteered and interned with various organizations, such as an intellectual property legal clinic, a hospital, and a health professions review and appeal board. Olivia is a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC and the Canadian Bar Association. When Olivia is not at the office, she enjoys staying active outdoors, trying out new coffee shops and spending time with her family.

Meet Our Team Part 2 Danielle Glass, Partner Danielle has practiced in the area of family law since 2009 when she began her articles at a boutique family law firm in Langley, BC. In 2019, Danielle and Beth opened Hepburn + Glass Lawyers LLP, which encompasses their shared commitment to delivering the highest quality legal services for all clients. Danielle continues to focus her files on family law and appreciates her role in assisting clients while they navigate through the ...legal challenges that arise with the end of a relationship or marriage. Helping clients define or revise parenting arrangements in a manner consistent with a childs best interest when household dynamics undergo change is also a focus for Danielle. While out-of-court resolutions are desired, litigation may be inevitable and Danielle regularly appears at all levels of court in British Columbia. She also acts as a supervising lawyer with the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. Prior to embarking on a career in law, Danielle attended the University of Victoria and completed a degree in Political Science and History. Before attending law school, she worked for a cruise line as program leader of the child care programs, which took her to all corners of the world. During her extensive travels, Danielle settled in her ancestral home of Dublin, Ireland and attended law school at Trinity College, with one year spent at Osgoode Hall Law School in Ontario. Ready for a return to Canada, and after too much time away from her family and identical twin sister, Patti, Danielle returned to British Columbia and established roots back in Ladner, BC, where she attended elementary and high school. In addition to her memberships with the Canadian Bar Association and West Coast LEAF, Danielle enjoys spending time outside the office with her family, travelling, and staying active through Pilates and yoga.

Meet Our Team Part 1 Beth C. Hepburn, Partner, pictured here at White Rock beach Beth has practiced family law and estate litigation in the Fraser Valley area for over 10 years. She grew up in White Rock and in 2009, she returned with her family to make it her home.... Beth completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria and McGill University with a double major in English and History. After traveling and working abroad in Asia, Beth went on to complete her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating with distinction in 2006. She then returned to British Columbia as a Law Clerk for several judges at the British Columbia Supreme Court, completing her articles at a litigation firm in downtown Vancouver and being called to the British Columbia Bar. In 2011, Beth opened her own firm, which Danielle Glass joined in 2013. Danielle and Beth worked so well together and shared the same vision of building a committed team and a continued desire to providing the highest quality legal service. This led to the natural next step of partnering together and opening of Hepburn + Glass Lawyers LLP where their shared vision is put into practice daily. Beth now practices primarily in the area of family law and wills and estate planning and litigation. She has conducted trials and appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia, including the British Columbia Provincial Court, British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. She has also assisted her clients with applications before the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to litigation, Beth assists her clients through the use of alternate dispute resolution, including negotiation and mediation. Outside of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and staying active through dressage and Pilates.
