Good morning folks , sorry for the late posting . The campsite will be opening May 13th so tomorrow . With this pandemic we are in .There is a few changes , Campers that are visiting our sites will have to be self contained Must stay in there own sites and practice social distancing. The shower house will NOT be open for public Dump station you must provide your own gloves , sanitizer, all garbage must be dropped off in the blue bin provided on the east side of campground .... Cookhouse and day use area ,playground ,and tenting at this time will remaine closed until further notice . See more

Hi good morning ! We have been seeing more and more people coming on out to enjoy our tiny little campground . This weekend we have had a couple in from Wisconsin. Always nice to have folks stop from far . Comments from them are we have a lovely little campsite , clean and welcoming only complaint no wifi . Hopefully soon we will . We have seen several kids birthday parties , family picnics , and people just coming out to read a book and enjoy the day . I forget to take pictures otherwise I’d post . Sorry bout that . Good afternoon , here is some photos of the Wedding that took place in our little campsite this weekend . Even tho I was unable to sit there as a witness , the wedding was beautiful , about 75-100 people came out for the wedding . Great job Verna Auger on decorating for this special event !

Good morning , update on what has been happening on our neck of the woods . Sunday Father's Day was very busy here both day use areas were bursting at the seams , was super nice to see families bringing there Dads out for a bbq and also a picnic , kids were from one end of the park to the other chasing the ever so friendly squirrels. Lots of compliments on the flower baskets not only in the park here but all over town as well . Our dump station has been extremely busy these last 2 days , one has to wonder if there is a huge event happening . My question is are you heading to Driftpile Valley??? No were going to HIPPY DAYS ??????so with that being said fair goers enjoy you time out there , be safe and keep dry !

Windward Church is offering a potluck picnic today , why not whip up your Favorite dish and come visit with Pastor Chris and his beautiful wife Anita , bring your lawn chair as well , location of picnic is in the day use area . Good afternoon , a update on the campsite . We have seen several overnight stay , some a few days , and a few long term stay. All seem to enjoy there time with us . our evacuees from Wabasca have now gone home . Was very nice to have them here especially when the guitar came out . The sound of a guitar ,glow of the fire no better way to enjoy an evening . They have mentioned they will be back to camp soon , just not as an evacuee! All in all the days have been pretty nice fire ban is lifted why not come on out for a picnic, roast hot dogs , marshmallows. And make memories .

Good morning well we have had some very nice people in over the weekend from Fort Nelson . Invitation for breakfast good conversation all around great group of people . Upon leaving they dropped off a plate of goodies ! As a friend of mine always says this KFC body surely doesn't need all of this ...... So with that being said I will definitely be sharing with other campers. Enjoy your day folks

Good afternoon something special happened at our campsite this weekend . Who says the cookhouse can not be transformed into a beautiful setting for a tea party . A surprise 30th birthday tea party to be exact . A lot of work went into getting this ready and was very well planned out . Sure was not what I expected when asked if they can come . Well done Frankie it’s a shame the decor could not stay .
