Our Dearest Guests, Well it’s been a hectic, emotional & stressful few days. As many of you have either seen or heard about True You Salon & Spa on different me...dia platforms in regards to taking a stand, opening our doors on Monday regardless of public health order. As the media does, it has twisted what are true intentions actually are. Our intention is to shed light on our industry, to shed light on the double standards that have been put in place & to make it known that many more small businesses will close forever if we don’t act now, but still in a safe & respectful manner. There is an incredible amount we have taken into consideration. The liabilities, the risks, the fines etc we do not take them lightly. We have had an outpouring of support & love to open, but with the good comes the bad. We’ve had people contact us who disagree with our opinion & we want you to know, that’s okay, you have that right to. We are trying to be as respectful as possible but we still need to make a living too. We are still struggling with what we should do tomorrow, to be very honest with you. We still don’t have an answer as to if we will be open or not, and to what degree or what that will look like for us. For now we ask for your patients & your understanding. That we are just trying to keep our dream a reality, & others dream a reality too; to get our fellow salon owners, hair stylist, esthetician’s back to work, not mention tattoo artist, body piercers, gym owners & personal trainers back to work & many many more. Our hope is that with your support & support from our MLA’s we can all be back doing what we love before there is nothing to go back to. Forever Hopeful, Team True You
