WHAT WE DO...Strengthen and balance! Many shoulder problems begin with muscle imbalance. Due to poor posture, we develop tight muscles in the front and weak muscles in the back. Things look a little different at the clinic - all to make sure your safety and health are priority! Highland Physio reopens for all clients June 1, 2020 On May 26th, the Chief Medical Officer of Health released changes to allow physiotherapists, and other regulated health professionals to begin gradually and carefully providing all services. Highland Physio has been preparing over the past month to ensure everyone a safe place to come and receive treatment. We can assure everyone that enters into the clinic that we will be following the guidelines of the College of Physioth...erapists and the Ontario Ministry of Health. At this time, we will ONLY be able to offer our physiotherapy services. Massage therapists have been given direction to resume some treatments with strict guidelines and once we have everything in place according to their college, we will be adding massage therapy and we will let you know when that is. Please note we will be continuing to offer virtual appointments for those who prefer or need this mode of care at this time. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Call us for an appointment! The latest update: Hello everyone! It feels like it's been a long time since we had to begin the temporary pause in service. But we are now hoping for a slow return to service beginning in the next 2 to 4 weeks as provincial restrictions ease. We are busy and carefully planning for a safe return for our staff and clients. Things will look different when we open our doors again, but they will most importantly be safe for everyone. Reminder that we are currently seeing urgent ...clients only with strict protocol and screening to follow. Please call the clinic if you have questions or consider yourself an urgent case. It's been a couple of weeks since our last update so here's what's happening at Highland Physio: We are still accommodating urgent cases as needed. Please call the clinic at (905) 628-5518 to book an appointment if your case is urgent. If you were attending physiotherapy before the temporary pause, and would like to speak to your physiotherapist, you can call and we will get you in touch.... We are practicing safety and distancing procedures with all urgent clients that includes COVID19 health screening questions. We are practicing sanitation procedures and the use of personal protective equipment with all clients. We want to assure all our clients that we are putting your safety first. These practices will continue, with adjustments as necessary, upon reopening. We are hoping, with an emphasis on the word hoping, to be able to reopen in early June. Wishing you and all your families health and wellness during these uncertain times.
