September’s end is on its way, and I am still in sandals // when the sun goes down at four o’clock, I miss the way it lit my whole world up

Three years ago I was in a really weird, hard place in my life. I was ready to be very single for a very long time. And then Jon came along. Three years later, a handful of moves, a new house, a new dog, and a whole lot of ups and downs, I am so excited to announce: we finally agreed on a Netflix movie to watch. ...Jk. As if. But we are officially less than a year away from calling this thing a forever deal! Weddings this year are different. Full stop. But damn if I’m not on board for quiet moments, heart to hearts with loved ones, toasts with your beloved, nights in, and stillness between each moment. Soaking up what’s left of this summer sun and feeling deeply grateful to have been given a pass to slow down. I wouldn’t have asked for it, but now that it’s here, we are absolutely allowed to take it in and embrace it wholly. Enjoy your Sunday eve vibes, fam.
