***Diwali Celebrations*** Temple is opened tomorrow Saturday, November 14th, on Diwali Day for Havana 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Darshan only 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ... Special Diwali Pooja and Kids performances will be on Sunday, November 15, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please note as per Govt Health Guidelines only 50 people are allowed in Pooja hall. Please ensure to senitize your hands upon arrival and ensure to register your name and phone number. Plz ensure Mask is on all the time covering both #Mouth and #Nose, if the hall is full we will have few spots to wait in the dinning hall. Plz maintain social distance at all times. Please dress according to weather as you might have to wait outside. We encourage everyone to keep your stay as short possible so that more people can pray and celebrate diwali. Please note on Sunday evening at 6:45pm we will be having kids performance so we might ask few people to leave the prayer hall for sometime as we try to maintain health Guidelines. We apologies in advance for any inconvenience it may cause you. Mask is mandatory and please sanitize your hands and wash your hands with soap if use the washroom. Please # Do not leave any food at the alter. #Note If you are feeling sick or not feeling well, please stay hime. If you are potentially in contact with someone who is visiting from outside the Atlantic Bubble and has not completed 14 days quarantine, please stay home for the well being and safety of family and friends. Dear Devotees, In this period of COVID 19, following the guide lines from the province executive opened mandir on Sundays. Thank you all the devotees for fol...lowing guide lines of mask, social distance, sanitization and waiting downstairs to limit number of people upstairs. With all guide lines and cooperation of people, the mandir will also open on second Saturday Sept. 12, 11:00 am to 12:00 noon for Havan to take place without PRASAD. This havan will be SAMUHIC or special to honour our ancestors during this period of Pitara paksh (shradh) Sept. 2 - 17 included. Only four people around Havan kund, others keeping social distance. For pooran Ahuti one person at a time can offer samigri to Havan Kund. This is taking place during Pitara paksh period VAS will be collecting donations for FEED NOVA SCOTIA that could be in kind or cheque. Only non perishable, vegetarian items will be accepted such as can vegetables, pasta, sauces etc. This month an additional havan might take place on fourth Sunday on Sept. 26, 10:00 - 10:45 am then regular pooja 11:00 am - 12:00 noon NO PRASAD Adhik Maas Sept. 18 - Oct. 16 Durga Pooja (Navratre) Saturday Oct. 17 - 25.
