As of August 2nd, the recall on Onions has expanded to several brands grown by Thompson International grown in Bakersfield, California. We have received at least one bag of Red Onions from the list of recalled brands, but we cannot confirm at this time whether or not any other Red Onions previously sold were part of the list of recalled brands during the recall period (which has been expanded to May 1st). For your safety, we advise that you dispose of any Red Onions purchased... on or before August 2nd. All Onions currently on display are not from the effected region of California, and should thus be safe for purchase and use.
