Just to let all my visitors know, I have some updates coming to my Facebook page. The updates will include a "How To" option for anyone that is curious on how to take on a small renovation project. Its as easy as just posting a question on my wall. Also I have a revamped portfolio of pictures that I want to display. These pictures will clearly demonstrate the abilities that HC&D can do. Last item that I want to mention is that, I have a two new services that I want to provid...e to the residents and business owners of Prince Edward and Hastings Counties. The service consists of a "Handyman Express Service" and an "Estate/Residential/Commercial Maintenance Service". Looks like I was digging graves today

After reviewing the page I created for Hirtz Construction and Design, I have fell behind with adding some of the latest business project posts and also some topic discussions. I also want to add that if you or anyone you know has a question to ask and feel that it would be worth sharing, you can ask a question on my business timeline. :)

There has been some changes to Hirtz Construction and Design. I am back to being the sole owner and James has moved on to bigger and better things. Therefor if you have any sandblasting inquiries, direct them to James at 613-827-7006. If James happens to be too busy, you can call me and I will help you out.

Creating an ad in the 411.ca directory has been an all night adventure. Hoping this will open the door to some new business in the Belleville, Trenton, Napanee and Kingston area :)

New pictures on the way this week for the renovated kitchen and bathroom tile job plus cabinets, granite and lighting is installed along with some basic stair building ideas. We are constructing an open pine staircase with a few extras. Big news coming as far as spring projects. Meeting in morning @ 9:30 with a Kingston Realtor plus a franchise opportunity that was offered to us to serve the Quinte Region. More updates tomorrow. Nice having positive news :)

The next pictures to be posted will be of a project that we took a house and re-designed it, re-framed it, re-insulated it, re-drywalled it, completely new kitchen and bath , new ceramic tile shower and floors with new laminate in the bedrooms and living room. We also made a new entry with plans of a cathedral post and beam entry with inter-locking brick. Yes, Hirtz Construction does it all. :)

Job complete: 876 sq. ft. laminate, new casings and baseboard, trim all painted and drywall repaired plus we sold them a nice granite countertop for a remarkable price installed and will prob be re-painting living room walls and bathroom plus refinishing their deck and privacy fence around their pool. Great job for references!!!!

Since I did a flyer for Snow Plowing, I thought I better do one for the construction end of the business. Not really any place to post what we do so here you go :)

Hirtz Construction has now added Snow Plowing to our list of services. Write down our numbers: Dave 613-438-0614 James 613-827-7006. Nobody likes to be snowed in :)

This is our current job that began as a stucco repair that has opened the door to more work. The structure is the 3rd oldest building in Prince Edward County and was constructed with timber beams and 3 layers of brick within the walls. Owners are now talking about an addition to start later this month or spring. :)

I have been inviting everyone on my Facebook friends list to "Like" our Facebook page. As time goes by, I will be adding our new re-designed web page that will be full of handy tips and a portfolio of the many projects that our company has taken on. We are seeking feedback from anyone and everyone that would like to see something on our website. Cheers!

Interesting restoring these old barracks. So happy that they are being saved thanks to the legacy of the owners father.

We sandblasted all the structural steel for engineers and blasted steel panels that were damaged from excessive moisture. Swimming pool was repaired also.

Lots of new pics of projects coming.... Year is starting off great and is booked. Has anyone had dealings with the new WSIB legislation for independent contractors? Wow..... lots of fun!!!!
