Last night, @rathbicycle dropped off my restored & tuned Baycrest Hurricane. Today, I was in my happy place. On May 4 @ 1pm, History Cycle is leading a Jane's Walk (ride), showcasing 232 years of history, city building & culture. ... All ages & abilities welcome. If you've never been to the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant, you absolutely must go check this out. This is one of the most impressive facilities in the city - providing drinking waters to hundreds of thousands while also serving as a last line of defense for flooding on the Elbow River. The treatment pools are beautiful examples of craftsmanship, looking almost akin to Turkish baths.
