Congratulations to Elizabeth on being this month CAREGiver! She said, she absolutely loves Home Instead and her clients and is blessed and grateful!
It has been one year since I started my employment at Home Instead and it has been a very rewarding experience. I have had a wonderful time helping and interacting with clients and Home Instead staff who were there to help me anytime I needed them. They are excellent at matching clients and employees who complement each other. Families put their trust in you when you are asked to care for their loved ones. I personally take that trust very seriously and do my best every day to make sure they stay happy and healthy. Home instead provides the tools and the training necessary, and I look forward to continuing working and helping clients. I sincerely thank Home Instead staff for all that they do for clients and employees. Thank you, -Vilma Ann

Before I started with Home Instead, I was working with young children. I was providing care for before and after school for kindergarten children. I had this job for 12 years and enjoyed it immensely but needed to supplement my income. I am not exactly sure what lead me to this company other than word of mouth but am truly great full for becoming a part of this team. The one thing I can say is that the bonds you make with your clients can be truly enlightening. I have been able to sing with my clients and make them laugh. I have been able to help with things like shopping or getting some computer work done for them. Being able to share a part of yourself, in order to make someone happy is one of the best parts of this journey. I can truly say that I love what I do and am blessed to be a part of this wonderful team. -Lorri

My 4th anniversary with HISC already!!! So glad I was hired to be part of the care team. I have worked with many clients of different situations. I enjoy being with them and assisting on offering companionship. I’m always happy to see them despite their mood of the day! Being calm and pleasant are 2 very good tools that I use in my daily visits. Thank you for allowing me to show people how much I care for each and everyone. -Donna

When we opened our first Home Instead Senior Care franchise location 10 years ago in London and it was this quote pictured below that played a role in helping us decide whether to "set sail" or play it safe and preserve our "ship". Our ship is a battle worn heavy frigate that has endured many battles, storms, and much adversity but she still sails true and fast. Along with these trials we've had some amazing adventures and have seen some amazing views - none that can be seen... or experienced at port. The need is evident for families to keep their loved ones safe and happy at home. We have set sail again with a crew that has yet to be matched and we have opened our 2nd Home Instead location in Sarnia smack in the middle of a pandemic. Fret not, we sail on awaiting new adventures and eager for what else may be beyond the horizon. We are thankful for our crew and for the now thousands of families that have entrusted us to care for their loved ones. Onward! See more
