We joined some snowbirds for the winter, enjoying the warmth of sunny Mexico. I have been working on some smaller projects and here are a few " Friends of the forest" that will be available in the spring. These cuties will be on their way home in a few weeks, for our new granddaughter soon to arrive in February.

Exciting News...... Hooked In The Pines Will be taking on a new name! Stay tuned. New things will be happening in the spring. Keep an eye for the changes. We are working on a Studio workshop and hoping to begin construction in June or July....

Found these packets of dye in a local fabric store. Glad I brought some natural yarn. I dyed some avocado skins and got a soft shad of pinks. Fun!!! These should create some interesting colours. I might be bringing some of these home? #dyeingyarn #punchneedlerughooking #oxfordpunchneedle

Day two of our Foot Stool workshop. Last week we worked so hard on preparation of the old stools, designing patterns, getting the designs on the monks backing and then the fun of picking the colours.
