A Zoom link will be sent to you through email, once you have registered for the event. We will worship the Lord together and hear two testimonies of Hope on how God has been working throughout this pandemic.... There will also be a competition for best decorated Christmas cookie, best Christmas pyjamas/outfit and best Christmas Zoom background! We will also have a live "Guess the Christmas carol" competition! For those of who would like to compete in the "Best Decorated Christmas Cookie" and "Best Christmas Pyjamas/Outfit" competition, please take a photo of your cookie or outfit and send your submissions with your full name to [email protected] by December 15, 2020. As well, we encourage everyone to find a Christmas themed Zoom background for the event that we will be voting on! We hope to see you all there. You are loved!

This morning on my walk I saw some Canadian geese eating their daily feast. I am always in such awe as I observe this visual display. This simple photo reminds me that the Lord will continue to provide for our every need, just like He cares for these birds. Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Matthew 6:26 (NLT)

2020 has been quite the season for so many of us as we’ve had to navigate changes and new normals. Today may you feel encouraged and find comfort in knowing that the Lord has not forgotten you. You’re so deeply loved and seen by our Heavenly Father. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Psalm 37:3

Today’s beautiful words come from Heidi Linzel. Thank you for encouraging us with these comforting words below. Psalm 100 is so beautiful. It’s all about how good our God is and how we should sing praises to Him because He is faithful! I particularly love verse 3: Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us, and we are His - his people, the sheep of His pasture. Amazing, right?! I love knowing that I am His, isn’t that so comforting! He chose to make a Heidi. He put me he...re for a reason and I get so overwhelmed when I think about that. God has made YOU, too! He loves you, you are one of His sheep and He cares for you deeply. Whatever circumstances you are in right now, just know that God has it. Give it to Him! Acknowledge that He is GOD and he will take care of you, like a shepherd cares for his sheep.

So grateful for this reminder that the Lord holds us and tells us to not be afraid. He is our help. Let Him help you today.
