Hi Everyone. Just a note to let you know there will be no Wave-Off event this year. We have worked too hard all summer with our mask policy and our social distancing and cleaning protocols on the patio to see all that effort lost for one day. We would love to see you down here for a bite to eat and a drink on our patio on Monday, but when our patio is full, that will be it. Again, thank you for all for your support this summer, we appreciate it. Be safe.

We are still continuing with our regular hours, daily, 12-8 until September 7th. After Labour Day Monday, our new September hours will be Fridays, 4-8 and Saturdays and Sundays, 12-8. Thank you all for your support over the summer.

THATCH REOPENING! After preparing our premises so you will all feel safe, we are pleased to announce that we will be open this Thursday and Friday from 4-8. Further hours will be added and posted as summer approaches. We are offering a take-out service and if you like you are welcome to take your food and drink out to our patio and enjoy it there. There will be no inside dining but we have a safe sitting area inside if you are waiting to take your food away. Come down and see Sandy, Chris and the gang and enjoy our oceanfront patio. We have a smaller menu and have maintained 2019 pricing. And, while our staff always appreciates gratuities, there is no mandatory inclusion in our pricing. To all our loyal customers and friends, as you may be aware we have recently applied to the Islands Trust for a development permit to construct a new pub along with new visitor accommodation units. It is impossible to say when we will receive permission to start, but until we receive some feedback on timelines, it is not practical right now to gear up for reopening with inventories, staffing and other reopening costs for what is an unknown length of time. Until we have a better idea where we are at timing wise in the development permit process, we will remain closed. Thank you all for your patience.
