Feedback Please Earlier today I was approached at the farm by a friend with this Diakon Radish. He asked if I could reach out to all of you to see if any of you would be interested in purchasing some. Apparently, there is a field full of this just waiting to be picked. Please let me know if you would be interested in buying some. We can pack it in bags of 5 for $5. But I will need to hire someone to harvest and wash it before putting it out for sale.

Am I barking mad? Well no, but some may disagree. More importantly, zero waste must be our goal. So off cuts from all the work this year makes great kindling.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! Today FAMSAC, our local food cupboard, picked up 28 five-pound bags of tomatoes thanks to all of you. Also, 50% of the money I made from selling the tomatoes went back to the Syrian boys at Maple Hill Farm. You may have seen them working every single day this growing season harvesting Eggplants from the 15 thousand they planted. They provided speciality eggplants and other cultural foods to the Syrian diaspora here in Ottawa.... They are a shining example of the hardworking immigrant, who has fled from war and literally planted their lives here. I count myself as lucky to know them and they make me appreciate just how lucky we are in Canada. A big thank you to everyone in Bells Corners, Crystal Beach and surrounding areas for stepping up. A big thanks to all you canners out there. Lastly, if you still need tomatoes, yes, believe it or not, I still have around 150 pounds ready for sale! Cheers Keith
