Today at Humber Valley Dental/Taylor Smiles we unexpectedly lost someone very special to us. Our hearts go out to her family and friends. Out of respect and compassion we will be closed and not seeing patients tomorrow, Monday August 17th. Some of our team members have graciously offered to go in tonight and start to notify those scheduled with us tomorrow. We truly apologize for the very short notice. Thank you for understanding. Hold your loved ones close!

Humber Valley Dental is now re-opened, if you were scheduled for an appointment between the dates of March 17th and June 8th and have not been seen please give us a call to reschedule your appointment. Due to some restrictions from the dental board we can not see people who have been out of the province or been in contact with somebody that’s been outside of the province or show flu/cold symptoms. There are restrictions in place as well only allowing a certain amount of patients to be seen a day so wait times could be much longer. Stay safe and we hope to see you soon.
As of today, June 8th, Newfoundland and Labrador is now in Alert Level 3 which means that private health care clinics can reopen in accordance with guidelines. ...Since COVID-19, dental clinics have been open for emergencies and urgent care only; however, they’re now able to open for regular dentistry under the new guidelines. We want you to know that your oral health and overall health is always a top priority for your dentist and they’ve been working tirelessly to prepare for this day! You may notice some changes the next time that you see your dentist. These changes may consist of: Some clinics wait rooms will be spaced out for the proper social distancing, or if there isn’t enough room, they may have patients waiting in the car before their appointment. The front desk may have plexiglass standing between you and the receptionist or they may be wearing face shields. The dentists, hygienists, and assistants will be in higher levels of protective gear. We want you to know, that while things may be different, it is all for your health! If you have any questions, it is best to reach out to your dentist. We thank you for your patience!
I hope this message finds you happy, healthy and safe. If you are very excited to get started, you can call Humber Valley Dental (709-639-9591) and book your appointment now.
