What does it take to keep communities moving? At Husky, a dedicated team across the company and our committed frontline staff helped support the communities we ...proudly serve. At the start of the pandemic, we showed our appreciation for fellow frontline workers, with our #ThankATrucker initiative. Our teams poured more than 50,000 free coffees for professional drivers and rewarded truckers with nearly 350,000 myHusky Rewards points. That initiative led to supporting essential workers, when our Husky House operators served more than 2,000 free take-out meals in June. Then we helped feed children across the country through a partnership with Food Banks Canada. We provided 60,000 meals to kids, and our loyal myHusky Rewards members donated points to help support the cause. And we’re not done. Our #KeepingCommunitiesMoving campaign continues with our Kids Eat Free offer and Free Little Lunches program. To date, we’ve given away more than 1,450 free meals to kids at Husky House Restaurants and more than 1,400 bagged lunches at select locations. #myHusky #myHuskyRewards #COVID19
