I Had Hope

Still have not found the time and tools needed to re-make the engine behind this yet sadly :( It's still on my mind from time to time though, and similar to how 'I Had Hope'd that Construct Classic was being replaced with an even better project when the commercial sequel to it had been announced back then, maybe we can still keep hoping together :P (although, Unity is pretty sweet for 3D and lately 2D as well) I figured that I should share some feedback and critique I had rec...eived on this project from my peers at University, and where it could lead the game in the future: -Increase the size of the characters / enemies on screen, decrease the view space around the player if need be -Less text on the GUI, mostly just icons and numbers where possible -Focus less on the story: Drop the open world concept and campaign all together for now -Stick with the wave survival and add more fun arcade modes -Add more flashy effects like the flamethrower and shell ejections from weapons -Bring it to mobile phones -Add multiplayer -Keep mod support, make more things moddable like weapons and powerups Aside from mobile, mods, and multiplayer; These would make the scope of the game much smaller/more manageable. If anyone else picks up or remakes the (free and open) source to its alpha/Construct Classic version in future, they're also welcome to implement these things. Always open to more feedback/comments here too :)
