COMPASSIONATE CARE COPING GROUPS: Due to the pandemic, health care employees now face stress, grief, trauma and loss in closer proximity, for longer durations. The last year is taxing to the human stress response unlike before. Compassionate Care Coping Groups allow people to process this stress in the minds and bodies and equip employees with space and energy to return to work in stressful situations. The groups build resiliency, strength and learning about themselves. W...hat do Compassionate Care Coping Groups look like: - We work with small groups of people who are similarly involved in the work space - Groups take place virtually and lasts from 60 minutes to longer. - Two certified facilitators run lead the group through a series of questions in a safe and comfortable environment - It is not therapy but a process of stress release - Confidentiality is practiced. If you have any questions what so ever please don’t hesitate to contact Caprice Kehler, Community Facilitator/ Trauma Team Lead NorWest Co-op Community Health P 204.479.2426 I f 204.938.5909 http://www.norwestcoop.ca
