Would like to say a big thank you to these 2 hard working young ladies for all their work at the arena, Ciera Gardiner Morin and Anyssah Maurice, job shadowing is a great program as it gives our young citizens great work experience, good job girls and also to the Ilex-youth Centre.

It is an absolute pleasure working with Abbey, she is always willing to learn n give it her all with our guidance. Her sense of humour was so contagious which... always helps our day go by smoother. Today is officially her last day with the job shadowing project, she has brought in her resume today and we will be offering her a casual position! Thanks Abigail Rosalynn - thanks to the IFC Ilex-youth Centre for offering the job shadowing project Abigail Rosalynn gets a meal on the house today From Management and staff!

I had thought about this last year but it was to late in the year, I brought it up again this year. So we put in a work order to the Village for the town shop guys plow the area and Kevin was happy to help as he knows how to operate the zamboni, thanks to Kevin and all the guys that made the idea become reality. Working together always pays off, so let’s continue to grow our community! I see that other communities are planning on doing the same ice track, such as La Loche and Turnor Lake. That is awesome!
