I would like to thank TEMPCO for my wonderful new furnace, installed on January 4 & 5 by Colin Turner. The new furnace is a work of art and keeps my home at an even temperature throughout the house. Thank you Colin, and thank you TEMPCO for bringing warmth into my home in 2021. Hopefully 2021 will be a new and healthy year, and that there will be freedom from COVID shortly. Thank you so much Glen and Happy New Year and congratulations on your new granddaughter. It's after dark New Year's Eve 2020 and I'm just returning home with my son-in-law's family and 10 day old granddaughter, Lou. The toasty warm house I'd left early that morning now had all the appeal of a meat locker. The gas furnace was out for the first time in living memory! All our desperate attempts at restarting the appliance failed miserably and prospects for a cheer...y evening were fading fast. Who on earth would agree to come out the night of the last big celebration of the year? As it turned out, dialing the after hours service number of our Powell River Tempco was the best move we could have made. Within half an hour technician Colin Turner was at our door with the solution in hand. Heat was back on and we continued on have a lovely evening welcoming in the new year. Scheduling next day service for an issue of concern was easy and pleasant, the verification call prior to arrival was thoughtful, a friendly introduction and discussion to define the issue was appreciated, the problem was quickly resolved, regular service completed and communicated, billing and payment was easy with the email system in place, as well as the follow up call. I highly recommend Dean Merrick, of Tempco Heating & Cooling, because he is a technician who knows what he is doing. He listened to my questions/comments and explained thoroughly what he would do to fix my heat pump which hasn’t worked for the last 10 months after several technicians tried to fix it. A technician with Dean’s knowledge of my Carrier system is extremely rare in Powell River. In my 12 years with this system I can assure you I will always ask for Dean for the annual checkups. He is fast, thorough, and honest. Take good care of him Tempco he’s a fantastic technician/gentleman.
