Exciting news, The Drey is going back to das future! We’re expanding the gallery and opening a second location in Berlin Germany this October. We’ll be running... The Drey out of the Weissensee Studio located next to Hamburger Platz. Weissensee Studio is a project space in one of Berlin’s vibrant art neighbourhoods that is the brainchild of curator/collector Leo Kuelbs ( The Leo Kuelbs Collection ) It’s pretty dope to be launching my 3rd gallery in Berlin ( past galleries were Fata Morgana & Sur La Montagna ) and continue participating in the local art scene there, as it was a second home for me for close to 7 years. I’ll be staying in Halton Hills and remotely directing the gallery with the help of our ( yet to be announced ) gallery manager, but I’ll head down a few times this year to dust off some shelves and pickle my own kraut. Because The Drey is a non profit gallery ( that receives zero government support ) we’ve decided to make gallery swag to specifically help fund the birth of our Berlin baby. ( Check out The Drey Berlin / Halton Hills merch below ) International shipping and set up costs are a cruel mistress and we’d appreciate any support from our community moving forward. Romas Astrauskas’ paintings have represented us well as our official gallery logo, so we’re celebrating his imagery and offering them on Kids and Adult T-Shirts and canvas tote bags. Each shirt or tote bag is $32 but any additional purchase is $25 thereafter. ( tax included ) Shipping costs from our supplier is high so if you order a few or combine your order with friends you’ll save a lot of money!
