The India Canada Association of Saskatchewan hosted the culminating ceremony of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the 151st celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on Friday, October 2 at the Regina City Hall. Thanks to Honourable Mark Docherty, His Worship Mayor Michael Fougere and the Indo Canadian community for attending the event.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration, Friday October 2 at 5:30 PM at the Regina City Hall. The India Canada Association of Saskatchewan (ICA) invites you and your family ...members to come and pay your tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on Friday, October 2 at 5:30 PM in front of the City Hall. We will assemble in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue installed by the India Canada Association of Saskatchewan in partnership with the City of Regina. We will be following the Saskatchewan health guidelines related to COVID-19 pandemic and will be maintaining social distancing. It will be a short ceremony due to COVID-19 pandemic. If you are planning to come, please show up on time. It is strongly recommended that you wear a mask during the event to protect yourself and others.
