Yesterday was our first day feeding our heifers, got to have a good look at everyone. Today some of our heifers we bought came home and we processed them. Our third year buying from Topham Red Angus, excited to see their calves.

This hunting season so far has been very upsetting and frustrating. We allow hunting and have regular people that hunt on our property. These people respect our property and our rules, no questions asked. This is my problem. You need to know who’s land you are on. Have permission to hunt on the land you are on, that doesn’t mean one person has given you permission so you can go wherever you want on other property and hunt. If we see you on our land and you don’t have permis...sion, not a good time to ask for permission. If you have been asked to leave our pasture once, twice and three times in less than 24 hours, you blatantly don’t care about anyone but yourself. If you chase animals with your vehicle, not really cool. Don’t hunt where people have there livestock. Have a county map or Ihunter app so you know where you are. Just be respectful. See more

Moving the cows to the winter pasture. Nice bit of snow to make the grass more palatable.

Been a busy week at the ranch. Moved our cows home from the hills, weaned, preg checked and got some other farm work done. We are so thankful for our friends that come to help us during this busy time.

What a beautiful fall day for preg checking our heifers.

It was a successful day today pulling our 16 bulls from our cows after a season of breeding. Look forward to seeing the calves in the spring.
