Georges Malleroni Clinic April 27 to May 3, 2020 Good Morning Once again we have the pleasure of hosting the Georges Malleroni Clinic at Indigo this spring. This will be the ninth year he has come to the Comox Valley. Georges is a passionate classical master dressage instructor and all of us that ride with him understand there has been great value in the continuity of our spring and fall clinics. Many of you have contacted me already with your dates and I've started a schedul...e based on the requests. This is a shortened version of our regular clinics with only seven days available so please let me know as soon as possible if you wish to participate this spring. I'll do my best to fit everyone into the days and times that work best. As always we have a number of overnight stalls available for those coming from out of town. This year I have opened a small yoga studio next to the lounge for those who wish to use it. As always the coffee pot is on, goodies all day and hot lunch for the riders and guests. We are looking forward to another great get together and a chance to catch up. All the best, Lois Indigo Equestrian Centre See more

Oh my goodness!! what fun we had at the Winter Fun day series demo. A western rider, 2 dressage riders, and 3 hunter jumper riders. All working through trot pole and cavalletti grids and circles, while maintaining balance, cadence, straightness, and correct bend. Amanda kept us active and having fun, but making sure we did everything correctly. Indigo Equestrian Centre Winter Weekend Fun Day Series Start date January 25, 2020, weather permitting... 305 Herondale Road, Courtenay Session fee: $40.00 plus GST = $42.00 Bonus 8-pack $300 plus GST = $315( saves you $21.00) All fees include arena fee The origins of gymnastic ground pole and cavalletti work go hand in hand with the principles of classical riding. Cavalletti work is extremely valuable in developing a horse’s athleticism and strength, while at the same time maintaining its health and well being. Plus, it is great fun for both horse and rider! All disciplines welcome!! Let’s have some fun. Session format: 1.5 hour sessions of 3 to 4 riders, based on their level, and what they want to work on. Sessions will progress each week. If there are enough, we will be blocking out Sunday afternoons for Pony Club riders. Weekday sessions could also be available if warranted. Helmets and proper boots with heels must be worn, and Horse Council membership is mandatory.
