The Province has announced elementary school children will be moving to virtual learning the week of January 4-8 as part of the measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. During this time, licensed child care centres are not allowed to serve school-aged children. To support parents who are not able to facilitate virtual learning for their school-aged children, the Province is implementing a targeted emergency child care program for eligible families.... Eligibility is determined by the Ministry of Education and includes frontline healthcare workers, police, and other services deemed critical. The full list can be viewed here: Appendix B, Individuals Eligible for Emergency Child Care This program will be available to eligible parents of school age children, at no cost, from January 4 8, 2021. To learn more or apply, contact Grey County Children’s Services at [email protected] If anyone is an essential worker family and requires childcare for ~school aged children~ Jan 4-8 Inglenook has been designated to provide essential worker childcare. Inglenook is holding a Mabel’s Labels fundraiser! Visit www.mabelslabels.ca and choose the fundraising link on the menu. Simply put in Inglenook and a portion of the proceeds will come to our centre!

Fencing and the parking lot are underway as well as interior renovations started this week! We will soon need some volunteers to help remove the stone wall out back!
