Inland Air Charters is proud to announce our much anticipated summer 2020 schedule. Effective July 01 2020 Inland Air Charters will be moving back to 5 days a week service. Check out our web page for the latest schedule updates. Service will include daily flights to Kitkatla and Masset. Hartley Bay scheduled service will remain Monday, Wednesday and Friday to synch with our Canada Post obligations. We would like to thank the communities of Kitkatla, Masset, Hartley Bay and Oo...na River for their understanding throughout the unpredictable times we are experiencing. The surrounding communities are of vital importance to us and we are extremely thankful for their continued patronage. Keep up to date with our promotions via Facebook as we will be offering these communities incentives and discounts when possible. Out of an abundance of caution and for the protection of our vital outlying communities Inland Air Charters has suspended tourism operations. We feel as though it is our obligation to ensure that no illness is transmitted via our services to isolated communities with limited resources. Though it is financially burdensome to turn away a significant portion of our seasonal business we cannot in good conscience encourage outside visitors to utilize our infrastructure with the risks associated with the current pandemic. This policy will be reviewed from time to time as the data and provincial policy changes occur. As of April 20 2020 Transport Canada has released a safety measure that requires all passengers travelling on an aircraft to wear a mask (non medical) or face covering that covers your mouth and nose. Please note as of April 20 2020 if you are booked to travel on an Inland Air flight (scheduled or chartered) you will be required to wear a mask and will be denied boarding if you do not have one (exceptions to children under 2 years of age). Inland Air Charters will be closed on Friday April 10th for Good Friday. We will have a cargo run on Thursday April 9th at 12:00 for groceries and Easter supplies. You can drop off cargo between 9AM and 11AM on thursday morning. Once we have collected all freight we will know what routing we will be taking. Happy Easter everyone. Stay safe and stay healthy :)

COVID-19 SCHEDULE CHANGES March 30 2020 During this time of travel bans and uncertainty Inland Air Charters must also be adaptable as we all work together to get through this time. ... Our best course of action right now is to reduce our services as follows: -Freight pick ups and drop offs for the public will be from 8am to 3pm -any agreements we have with Canada Post, Shoppers Drugmart, Save on Foods and other service workers/delivery drivers will remain the same. -we will now be doing regular combination flights -HARTLEY BAY/KITKATLA flights will leave Prince Rupert at 9:00am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. -depending on the freight loads the Pilot in Command will decide if it will be a Kitkatla to Hartley Bay to Rupert routing or a Hartley Bay to Kitkatla to Rupert routing. *when high tide is in the morning we will be accommodating Oona River pick ups and drop offs as well* -Masset flights will leave Prince Rupert at 1:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. -please note that the Masset to Rupert flight may be delayed by 1 hour due to supply runs to outposts on the Haida Gwaii side. *when high tide is in the afternoon we will be accommodating Oona River pick ups and drop offs as well* -we ask at this time any one who has freight that must get to these destinations to drop off as soon as possible and at the very least 1 hour before the flight is scheduled for departure. To our valued customers, Know that Inland Air Charters is doing its part during the COVID-19 virus outbreak. We have started a screening process to make sure anyone who is travelling on our air crafts is either a resident of the area or an essential service worker. We are asking our passengers to wear gloves and masks while travelling. Inland Air Charters would love to provide these to our customers however with the high volume of orders online globally we cannot secure an o...rder large enough to service our needs. Inland Air Charters has reduced its freight rates by $0.10/pound to help reduce shipping costs. At this time with isolation periods being set by the surrounding areas we would like to assure you that we are still open to receive groceries and supplies and will be working diligently to get your supplies to you in a timely manner. We have spoken to the local grocery stores and they are still able to take online orders and deliver them to Inland Air Charters. We will be asking passengers at this time to use the side door instead of the front door at the base, as we try to limit all the surfaces that can be used to spread viruses (ie: door handles).
