We cannot believe we are 7 years old today! Nine years ago, in Sept 2010, founders and owners Janine and Greg Charron fell in love and within three weeks of speaking they created iNSiDE Out STUDiO barre from scratch. Not only have they grown their business out of love, they also created a young family along this journey. Jan 18th, 2012 we opened our doors as Ottawas first-ever barre based fitness studio. ... Slowing down to open a door for the person next to you, being patient when someone around you who isnt driving the way you want them to. Assuming the best in people instead of the worst. Please help us welcome Ms. Barr to the barre! Our latest instructor Lauren was meant to be a barre instructor, right?! ;) Lauren Barr is an Ottawa girl, born and raised. She started dancing classical ballet at the age of 6 and continued to dance for many years, winning full scholarships at her ballet school. She moved to Toronto after high school to pursue a career in fashion but continued to nurture her love of dance by teaching part time. 10 years later she moved back to O...ttawa to be close to family. Having suffered with lower back pain for years she was advised by her physiotherapist to try iNSiDE Out STUDiO barre. After being exposed to both the mental and physical benefits of Barre she was hooked and with her extensive dance background Barre felt like a natural fit. Lauren is passionate about nutrition. She loves creating new healthy recipes for her family and is always trying to find creative ways to get her kids to eat their vegetables. Lauren is excited for the opportunity to help people keep healthy through movement and she’s looking forward to seeing you at the Barre!

For me, this is what barre represents!... Along with practicing barre, I enjoy yoga, hiking, rock climbing, reading and most of all, being in nature. As a newcomer to Ottawa, I am looking forward to exploring the surrounding area. Over the years, I have worked with children and adolescents as a Mental Health Worker and teacher. Meet Ashley Ashley is a Sports Performance Coach in Ottawa specializing in skating and Youth Fitness. She was a competitive figure skater competing at the National level and trained under a Russian 2 time Olympic silver medalist and team Canada coach. Ashley holds her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training certificate along with certifications in Youth Fitness and Youth Nutrition from the International Youth Conditioning Association.
