Maybe you're not a frequent flyer, but you should still sign up for their programs when you travel. Even if your accrued mileage stands at zero, at least you'll represent the possibility of future business, in the event you have an issue or a request.

If you’re using a boarding pass on your mobile phone, take a screenshot of it and save it in your pictures folder on your phone (rather than relying on the airline’s app or on a good internet connection at the airport).

Charge electronics before you fly. Your phone, laptop and tablet should all have plenty of battery to help you pass time productively in the airport and on your flight. You won’t need to fight for an outlet at your gate either.
