Designer Patti Rosati injected playful personality into this east Toronto home, with bursts of colour and whimsical patterns. A pistachio leather banquette underscores a bay window, and storage built-ins throughout lend extra function to each room.

This classic urban dwelling is as contemporary and beautiful as it is practical and efficient. Well designed and full of light, there is just enough of the unexpected to make it uniquely special. Loved by families for nearly a century, developer 3FiveSix partnered with INTOR Construction to revitalize and modernize its poise and utility for a few more generations to make memories in.

This detached home had already been lived in for several years before the owners decided to dramatically expand the space with a third floor addition to accommodate their growing family. We maximized ceiling height on every floor, starting with a basement underpinning, and large windows and sliding doors flood the space with natural light, transforming it into a bright and happy forever home.

This three-storey Victorian home on a stately tree-lined street was completely transformed to create a luxurious owner’s suite on the upper floors. Punctuated with skylights and raised rooflines, the space is fresh, airy and awash in natural light. DXT Studio carefully chose materials and finishes that patina over time to translate the home’s century pedigree to the modern era.

This contemporary home is a collaborative effort by INTOR Founder, Philip DeBarros and his wife, designer and stylist Alanna Davey. Featured in Designlines Magazine, the modern aesthetic was achieved by repeating shapes and sharp, clean lines throughout. Custom details abound, from the Calacatta marble waterfall-edge island in the kitchen to the solid quartersawn white oak staircase connecting all four levels of the home.

With fall here, Baro has your Year-round rooftop to make it feel like it’s not so cold out @ West Toronto

The rooftop patio has been in the works since Baro’s grand opening in 2016 - Its indoor-outdoor experience reminiscent of a warm getaway. The rafters are dotted with plants and the chefs are working the wood burning parrilla. True to the different concepts scattered throughout the three-floor temple of Latin American food, the patio features its own menu that capitalizes on the rooftop grill. With the heated indoor area and retractable roof this patio will be enjoyed all year long, no matter what weather comes along.

Owner Nicki Laborie and chef Ariel Coplan brought along the same light, color approack to drinks and pan-Euro-Middle-Eastern eats that they road-tested at the original Yorkville location (and at a spin-off inside Assembly Chef's Hall), but added a bakery and cafe counter, as well as a new food menu divided into mains at lunch and bar snacks at night. The original plan was to keep the King location a cafe in order to complement the daytime cooking schedule at the commissary. Now, in addition to an espresso machine, the bar is home to a selection of grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, quiche slices, and house made baked goods. Photos: Phoenix Grey

Dasha on King West offers a contemporary take on Asian cuisine, and a second floor private Karaoke area. Dasha - play on the Mandarin expression for ‘Big house’ this venue is a two floored project that spares no expense in styling. Designed by SOLID with Honeycomb Hospitality and Helmed by Michelin-star Akira Back, this restaurant is filled top-to-bottom with allisions to a mystic land far, far away. With Orchids, neon lights, the space itself includes elements like a giant bird cage framing the stairs, harkening back to Chinese tea houses in Yore, custom designed lighting, and hand painted art throughout all the spaces.
