iPhix Cornwall is now closed until January 4th, but our Kingston location will remain open during the holidays. Starting January 4th iPhix Cornwall will be providing curbside service in compliance with the Ontario lockdown.

Holy smoke, batman! This customer brought us a phone with a charging issue. We can certainly see why it wasn't charging in the video! This one was a fire hazard! We changed the entire charging daughterboard and the phone is now up and running again!

iPhix COVID-19 Update - April 6, 2020 With increased measures by the government, we are now only able to offer curbside service pickup at iPhix Cornwall. Our FREE delivery throughout Cornwall is still available and we are still making arrangements for after-hours drop-offs and pickups. We've even arranged for a long-range debit terminal and will be able to take credit or debit tap at your door by the end of this week. The doors at the shop will remain locked but if you kno...ck or ring the bell when you arrive, we will come out to you to sign in your device. We ask that you please respect social distance at all times. Our temporary hours are still Monday to Friday 12-5, and we are available through chat for quotes or questions on this Facebook page all day long. Thank you for your support and your business! COVID-19 Update, Mar 24/20 As many of you might be aware we have been deemed an essential business by the Ontario Government. As such, our locations will remain open, with limited hours (see below). We will implement measures to keep our Customers, Employees and Owners safe. NO EMPLOYEE will be forced to work. NO STORE will be compelled to open. The measures we have implemented have the sole purpose of keeping everyone safe. What is expected from our Customers:... - Only 1 customer at a time in the store, if you need to wait please practice safe distancing. - Remain behind the lines on the floor, to maintain social distancing. - Items requiring servicing shall be placed on the designated area. Items you have touched shall be placed also on the designated area, these items need to be sanitized before returning to inventory. - Wait for our staff member to inform you that the credit or debit terminal is ready, and allow them time to back away. What is expected of our staff: - Treat everyone with courtesy and respect. - Wear protective gloves when handling items. - Sanitize all devices, cartridges etc. before handling them. - Wash your hands after every interaction with a Customer. - Sanitize all purchases and repairs before returning them to the customer. - Sanitize the credit or debit terminal after every use, except tap, try to encourage tap. - Sanitize all product handled by Customers before returning on the shelf. - Encourage Customers to pay with Debit/Credit as opposed to cash (Tap preferred). - Sanitize all inventory prior to putting it away or using it. Hours: Cornwall and Kingston iPhix Stores will open Monday to Friday, 12pm 5pm only. They will also offer free pickup and delivery. Appointments will be available outside these published hours. Brockville iPhix will be closed for the next 2 weeks, tentatively re-opening April 6, 2020

We have made a few changes (effective immediately) in light of the current situation. I'm temporarily changing my open hours to Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm. Arrangements for drop-offs, deliveries, or pickups outside business hours can be made by calling me at (613) 330-2081 during open hours, or by messaging me through this Facebook page any time of day. Through our continuing effort to do our part combating COVID-19, iPhix Cornwall has implemented a FREE pickup and delivery service. If you are in need of repairs for your computers, smartphones, or tablets. Give us a call at (613) 330-2081, or message us through our Facebook page. We will arrange to pickup your repair as soon as possible. Payment may be made via e-transfer, or by credit card over the phone. Once repaired we will return your device to you (most repairs are same-day). Your device will have been sanitized to minimize any possibility of contamination. Finding your phone battery is draining way too fast? You're not alone! We replaced all these just this past week. All replacement iPhone batteries are normally in stock and replaced within hours by our Apple Certified Technician!

Some days my customers make sure my job stays challenging and interesting... Today we're performing surgery on our little friend, Rudolph. This is an antique toy that plays Rudolph's song in french, and I'm told they're fairly rare. We found come corrosion creating a short on the circuit board and the wires for the switch had broken. I think our patient will be making a fantastic recovery, and will stay with his loving family for many years to come!
