Hey Folks! We love you, and the support you’ve shown us! We wanted to take a moment to provide clarity on what we currently offer and when. Since our business is nothing near traditional, it evolves daily/weekly. 1) We offer takeout twice a week. Monday (preorder Saturday & Sunday ) and Thursday(preorder Tuesday & Wednesday). All done through our website www.ironkettletakeout.com. You can pay online with a credit card, gift card number or etransfer. When you pick up, you can... pay with Cash/Debit/Credit. For anyone not having placed orders, we do make a significant amount of extras to pick up on Mondays & Thursdays. Recently, we have opened a Bread Boutique on Saturdays with first come first serve and no pre-ordering. So hours of operation: Monday 2pm-6pm Thursday 2pm-6pm Saturday 8am-4pm. Outside of those hours, by chance should we have have extras - we always post about it on social media. On Saturdays - we roll with a honour system - pay our Batman jar or send us an etransfer. We sell fresh bread every Friday and Saturday at: @leeandmarias in Kingsville @docksidefisheries in Wheatley @uptownmeats in Harrow @thecheesebar.ca in Lakeshore/Tecumseh If our closed sign is up on our door, it means we are closed. We are currently not hosting any overnight accommodations, dinner events, dining or weddings, nor booking any for the near future. Next week - we will launch our plan and offerings for the holidays! Dear Comber: This year has been hard on all of us individually, and as a community. It is with great sadness that we need to let you know, that we will not be hosting a Holiday Tree Lighting event, for obvious reasons. We have to apologize to you, as we will not be able to decorate the B&B whatsoever this year, and for that we are extremely sad, as it is something we enjoy doing, but the whole town can be proud of while driving by. ... As many in the world, our business has been turned upside down and we simply need to prioritize our time in keeping our business afloat through these strange times. Today, all of you (or wish) are enjoying this Smoked Turkey Clubhouse Sandwich, made with @butterball_ca easy fresh turkey breasts that we smoked, @leeandmarias tomatoes, @thornloecheese 2 year old cheddar, aioli with garlic from our garden and oil from @pristinegourmet, bacon & baby spinach from the good folks @mortonfoodservice of course our signature loaf - Multigrain Sourdough made with Spelt & Rye Flours from @k2milling and Quinoa from @quintaquinoa. Meet the team! It’s with great pleasure, that we announce a HUGE addition to our team. Earlier this year we had made plans for this to happen, and well - you know.... August 1st, Chef Johnny Oran joined our team, and we haven’t looked back since! You may have noticed a little more finesse, a new assortment of menu items since then. @chef_johnny_oran is the epitome of a professional chef. A graduate of the Stratford Chefs School, he has worked in kitchens across Canada and ha...s picked up quite the accolades along the way. His Windsor roots brought him home a few years back, and he has become one of the most sought out chefs in Essex County. One of my best friends, he’s always been there to help us with large weddings, and (as pictured) our Harvest Dinner. Most recently, Johnny gained quite the popular following with his Licia Ruby Caramelized White Chocolate Bars. A perfectionist at heart, Johnny is a true pastry chef - and has already been a huge contributor to the success of our business in a few short months. Johnny is a family man, a father of two amazing boys and is passionate about all things food and sports.
