A reminder that tomorrow brings into effect mandatory masks for indoor public spaces in Nova Scotia. This includes inside our restaurant. Our dining room remains closed but we continue to have our bakery, ice cream and takeout. Please note, due to the already high cost of doing business during Covid-19 and the wide availability of masks to the public, we WILL NOT be providing masks to customers. Our staff will continue to serve you, smiling behind their masks, and hope to see you soon!

UPDATE! It’s a gorgeous day for a treat by the sea! We wanted to let you know we’ve extended our hours to 9PM. We also know that many of you have been wondering about dining in. We have decided for the safety of our staff and customers that this season will be a return to our roots and remain takeout only. As much as we would love for things to go back to normal, it’s important to remember that things are still not business as usual. A reminder that we are open 7 days a week from 11:00AM to 7:00PM daily with our full menu for takeout, bakery, and ice cream. While our dining room remains closed, it would be a great week to eat lunch at a picnic table by the sea! Tomorrow is the day you've all been waiting for! We're open again! Here is some important information: ~Our hours are 11:00AM-7:00PM daily ~Our bakery, ice cream, and takeout are available. Our dining room remains closed.... ~Please enter through the dining room door, wait in line 2m (6ft) apart as marked on the floor, wait to be waived into the storefront by one of our servers and then proceed to the counter to be served. You will then exit through the storefront door. ~We recommend you call in takeout orders at 902-627-2513. Our updated menu is posted on this page. You may also order in person but may need to wait in line to do so. We will take your number when you order and ask that you leave the building until your order is ready. We will call you when your order is ready and you will come to the storefront door (exit) to receive your order when the server indicates it is safe to do so. ~Children may accompany parents in line to order ice cream, however, we ask that they stay with their parents and follow social distancing rules. ~Our picnic tables are available outside for use at your own discretion. ~Our washrooms remain closed to the public. ~We ask that you sanitize your hands upon entering the restaurant. You will see hand sanitizer available throughout the restaurant. We also have paper copies of our menu available. We ask that if you take one, please keep it and reuse it for future orders. We will not be taking them back.

We’ve been working hard to get ready and we look forward to seeing you when we open this weekend for bakery, takeout, and ice cream! We’ve decided to keep the dining room closed at this time until we have a chance to adapt to our new ways of doing business while keeping staff and customers safe. We know you’ve been waiting a long time to see us again and we thank you for your patience. This winter has been an especially difficult one in our family as our Co-owner and Manager Natalie Corkum was diagnosed with leukemia. She is now approaching the end of her treatments and things are looking much better. She is the one who keeps this place running and is continuing to do so while also focusing on her recovery. Anyone who knows her knows what a strong woman she is and continues to be! Thank you for your continued support of our business in these uncertain times. We look forward to seeing you soon and serving the food you have come to love over the past 58 years!
