Congrats to Will, Youth Coordinator at Pacheedaht First Nations for entering into our Sport for Life Programs draw! Will also enjoys playing sports, riding his... bike, being outdoors, and of course loves his job. For the month of September and October, ISPARC covered the registration fees for Sport for Life E-learning workshops. Send us your selfie or photo holding your certificate of completion from either the Intro to Physical Literacy or Stepping Stones for Indigenous Participants and we’ll enter you into a draw for some sweet ISPARC swag! Please send photos to: [email protected]

Participation in sport officiating in Canada is dwindling to crisis levels in many sports. Through the development of Sport For Life’s Long Term Officials Frame...work/Guidelines we learned that Canada’s 600,000 + officials often feel disconnected from their sport organizations and frequently suffer harassment and abuse. This webinar explores the critical role officials can play in reaching Sport Canada’s goals for safe quality sport opportunities for all Canadians. Explore the tools and resources to support your officials to be engaged and effective leaders of inclusive sport in your organization. This webinar will be led by Meredith Gardner Long Term Development Advisor, Sport For Life LTOD lead, and founder of Count Us In training for the inclusion of children with hidden disabilities in sport. Date: Thursday, October 22, 2020, 10:0011:30 a.m. PST / 12:30 p.m. EDT. Register here https://bit.ly/34q0c2N
