Thank you to all members in the house for standing to pay tribute to one of #Sudbury's greats, Jeopardy! host, Alex Trebek.

These lockdown rules make absolutely no sense! Honestly, if the Conservatives believe that *only* Walmart can safely remain open, then the small businesses of Ontario can also remain open with *at least* that same level of safely too!

For 25 years an entire generation Neskantaga has been without clean water, living under a boil water advisory. Then two weeks ago, dangerous hydrocarbons were found in the local water reservoir. Neskantaga went from having no clean water, to having no water at all and forced to evacuate in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is a pre-written email demanding the Ontario Government step up immediately to get clean drinking water to Neskantaga and other First Na...tions in Ontario. Please sign it and share!

Although there has been another recorded case in #Sudbury, there are 16 fewer active cases (now 27).

I was listening to Markus Schwabe on Morning North. He was interviewing Carl Jorgensen, the general manager of Conservation Sudbury. Basically, what he asked for was to detach schedule 6 from the budget bill. (Re-posted with Subtitles by request) #onpoli

This is a cute and creative idea! Families encouraged to enter a miniature float built from a shoebox, book or other flat surface.

Given the concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic, The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Conference would be held virtually in 2021. It will be the first time the conference has run online in its 89-year history. https://bit.ly/3nW4vLx

Runners and walkers from across Ontario hit the streets to take part in the SudburyROCKS!!! first ever virtual marathon. The campaign raised a total of $77,000 in support of the Northern Cancer Foundation! @sudburymarathon

"In simple, chilling language, the personal support worker opens a curtain on what the COVID-19 pandemic has looked like from the front lines of devastated long-term care homes: Bodies of residents piling up, desperate staff shortages, fear." PSW's have every right to voice their concerns! We need to know what's happening in our LTC homes and the issues must be fixed NOW. It is a workers LEGAL right to ask about safety and all of this involves SAFETY. Thank you to CUPE Ontar...io and ALL workers for speaking up - I support you. #whistleblowerprotections #fordfixltc

I proudly voted no against Bill 218. This video is from the debate on the bill, and although it's a bit lengthy it's worth the watch and will explain why I voted no! Thank you for all the constituents who called and emailed with their concerns. ... Unfortunately, Ford's government chose to protect their wealthy friends instead of protecting the safety of our seniors.

Today is World Food Day and it was established to increase awareness of world hunger and poverty, and to inspire solutions for change. Hunger and poverty doesn't only happen in certain parts of the world - it happens right here in #Sudbury and we must do better. Watch the video for more info!

Thanks CTV for the coverage on yesterdays townhall. Many children in the north are still on wait lists, to get access to the services that they need. These families deserve more and shouldn't have to wait until April 2021 to find out what the next steps are going to be!

Breaking promises seems to be a reoccurring theme with the Ford government. Hydro rates are already ridiculously high and now - while people are still struggling - while we are still in a pandemic - is not the time to raise prices AGAIN. Hydro rates was (and is still) one of the biggest issues I heard about from individuals in #Sudbury. Don't be afraid to voice your concerns! You can contact my office at 705-675-1914 or by email: [email protected] and we can send letters to the Minister of Energy.

I agree with Charlie Angus: Ontario-made electrical vehicles should have Ontario-mined nickel, copper, and cobalt for their electric batteries!

When Ontarians who spell their names using French language characters next visit ServiceOntario for renewal, they can request that those characters are reflected on their eligible identification cards. (Thank-you MPP France Gélinas for your tireless work on this!)

Oh la la! Authentic croissants have arrived in Sudbury! A customer gushed when she ate our croissants for the first time: ‘You mean I don’t have to go to Montreal or Paris for a real croissant?’ McMullan said with some pride. Someone sent us a message the other day saying it was her first time visiting and that she felt like she had got off a plane in Paris,
