Winter is here, if this is happening in Toronto, who is going to help them? is not only eviction is also the change of the rental to higher more, and many are without a job! Toronto going to court to challenge Ontario's Mass Eviction Bill this eviction is increasing since July 2020. One of the protests, organized by Parkdale Organize and People's Defense Toronto, have dubbed the Bill 184 the Mass Eviction Bill. Specifically, advocates point to section 83 which has been a...mended to allow landlords to apply to evict tenants who owe money from March 17, 2020. Toronto’s city council has voted 22-2 to bring a legal challenge against the Ford government’s Bill 184, which tenants’ advocates say is unfair to renters. Initially, the Protecting Tenants and Strengthening Community Housing Act was said to strengthen protections for tenants, make it easier to be a landlord, and help both landlords and tenants resolve disputes, according to the province. Since the announcement of the bill, tenants’ rights protestors have appeared twice to publicly demand Mayor John Tory take action against the bill, including once at a condominium groundbreaking ceremony and again outside of the mayor’s home. https://dailyhive.com//toronto-court-ontario-bill-184-evic See more

A 12-year-old boy is in critical condition and a 17-year-old boy is in life threatening condition, said Interim Police Chief James Ramer at a news conference late Saturday afternoon. Ramer said police responded to calls about several gunshots in the area of Jane Street and Stong Court, north of Finch Avenue West, around 2:20 p.m. They then located the 12-year-old on the west side of Jane Street, who had been shot. The boy was at the "wrong place at the wrong time" and is an... "innocent victim", he said, adding that he was with his mother and they were shopping in the area when the child was shot. The mother was not injured. Interim Police Chief James Ramer says a Saturday afternoon shooting that injured a 12-year-old and three other youth was 'brazen.' (Darek Zdzienicki/CBC News) He said the shooting began when two vehicles entered a parking lot at the intersection, and two occupants of one of the cars got out and started firing at the second vehicle, then chased it outside the parking lot and went eastbound on Stong Court, firing around 30 rounds. https://www.cbc.ca//four-people-shot-north-york-jane-st-1.

If we read BPM or APM I say, we are all God's creation and we all Matters, when we back to the ground and our Spirit go up we all be before God. This article is a sad story to remind ourselves the truth in this country. The government of Canada has recognized the challenges and systemic racism Indigenous Peoples face because colonial policies and practices, such as the residential school system and the '60s Scoop. But at Stony Point -- the land we call Aazhoodena -- much has... stayed the same. The property remains a minefield, riddled with unexploded ordinances and environmental contaminants leftover from 50 years of military training. https://www.cbc.ca//dudley-george-s-death-at-aazhoodena-ga
