A reminder to everyone now that it is getting colder and furnaces are running, to check your Carbon Monoxide(CO)detector. CO is a by product of burnt natural gas and has no odor, smell or taste. CO displaces the oxygen in the blood and results in CO poisoning. It is often called the "silent killer" If CO goes undetected it can result in death. Note that CO detectors have an expiry date marked on them.

This Halloween please be patient and remember not everyone may be comfortable handing out candy. We are all dealing with the current health concerns in our own ...way. As part of that our fire trucks and members will be out driving on the night of Halloween to help keep all the trick or treaters safe but we will not be handing out candy off the trucks. Again, the trucks will be out but will not be handing out candy. See more
