I make videos in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Instead of the typical drone edit that I usually do I figured I would turn Grande Prairie into Mordor from Lord of the Rings. . Complete with a majestic monologue from Justin Trudeau, this edit is sure to stimulate your senses and trigger a memory of Justin Trudeau speaking moistly a few months ago. Enjoy. . If you or anyone you know is selling a home let me know. I am looking for more real estate clients.
Engagement photoshoot with my partner in crime Kirsten Prysunka Original photo from @michaelchanphotography. Photoshop edit from Aaron McKinley
A few days ago I shot some drone footage of my family in laws acreage in Demmit, Alberta. They were building a new road and improving the lots drainage. Send me a message if you need some real estate drone work done in the peace region. https://youtu.be/sKkjSlFm9PE
Its a construction drone day at my father in-laws acreage in Demmit, Alberta. Building an improved road on the property and creating better drainage. We flew over the property to check the property line and to see how the water is collecting from a birds-eye view. Send me a message here on FB or on IG: @jbishphoto if you have some property inspection to do.

The view of the Calgary skyline from Mt. Pleasant View Point is insane. I would like to revisit this spot and see the skyline in different kinds of light. This city is very clean and there is so much to do! We spent 3 days here and had a blast! We travelled down to Calgary from Grande Prairie, AB to get our engagement photos done. Check out my Youtube for more Alberta videos. https://youtu.be/AKwDWyt7SdI
Short 1 minute video up on my youtube (link in bio) of the Calgary skyline. The view from Mt. Pleasant View Point is insane. I would like to revisit this spot and see the skyline in different kinds of light. We travelled down to Calgary from Grande Prairie, AB to get our engagement photos done with @michaelchanphotography. Very fun trip.
We are travelling back north today as we are done in Calgary. Thanks to @michaelchanphotography for doing our engagement photos. We walked around downtown Calgary and stopped at different impromptu spots to take pictures. We will be visiting Kirstens Baba as we drive north to Edmonton where her sister has a wedding dress appointment. So many weddings. Calgary, Alberta. July 9, 2020.
Cloudy day in Calgary, AB. July 8, 2020. In Calgary with Kirsten doing our engagement photos. w\ @michaelchanphotography
I flew my drone down by the Wapiti River on the weekend and made an edit from the footage. After the rain last week in Grande Prairie the river rose and flooded a bunch of the surrounding area. This is what it looked like a few days after the flooding. It was a beauty day and was very peaceful down there.
On the weekend I flew my drone down by the Wapiti River in Grande Prairie, AB and made and edit from the footage. The full version of my Wapiti River video is up on my youtube now. #grandeprairiealberta #grandeprairieab #wapitiriver #wapitirivergp
Such a beauty day yesterday that I had to take my drone down to the Wapiti River and make some drone boomerangs after the flooding. This is the Big Mountain bridge crossing over the Wapiti River south of Grande Prairie, AB by the International Paper pulp mill. Shot on a DJI Mavic Air.
We made this picture by setting the camera on a tripod and setting house plants in a tunnel towards Kirsten. The foreground Bokeh makes it seem claustrophobic... which is kind of true as she has 80 house plants at the house. . Shot at f2.8 on the GH4 and a Panasonic 12-35 with natural light. Color graded in KUNI on the IPhone. . No plants were harmed in the making of this picture.
Felt like doing an colour grade edit of my Gh4 and my Canon FD 50mm f1.4 on this sunny day in Grande Prairie, AB.
Give my Youtube a follow for more GP content. This is the second BLM protest in Grande Prairie, AB held on June 20, 2020. The first being held on June 6, 2020. Roughly 150 people attended the latest one and the march lasted one hour. The protest loop was 100 Ave and 101 Ave by the Co-Op. I filmed the whole march and the general vibe was very peaceful except for a few cars that drove by yelling profanities. One white pickup truck yelled: "You guys are fucking idiots", while an...other older lady and her kid yelled: "Go home, this is fucking racist." And not surprisingly we heard some people shouting "All Lives Matter" from their cars. Everyone that attended was chill. The only unrest came from people who were not apart of the protest. It was really great to see people of all backgrounds coming together in Grande Prairie in support of the Black Lives Movement. Obviously this video edit is biased in support of BLM otherwise I wouldnt have went and filmed it, but this experience really showed that Grande Prairie isnt as open minded as people think. The far left as well as the far right are both in the wrong when it comes to yelling profanities at people they disagree with, be it IRL or on Facebook. Wether you support this or not you dont need to get angry enough that you feel the need to hang out your (literal and figurative) window like an emotionally stunted caveman yelling how you feel. The people in their cars who are yelling are just as bad as the far left when they berate conservative people online for not agreeing with their ideas. Calling them racists for supporting certain politicians or tearing people down when they feel like their ideas are the only way to think and behave. There is a lack of respect here on behalf of all people in certain situations. In conclusion, this protest was awesome to be a part of and the organizers and speakers did a great job. Hope you enjoy the video edit. Justin

Kirsten and one of her friends in her plant group thought it would be funny if I made a video about these bugs who look like they are dancing. This is really high brow stuff right here. The original video is on my TikTok: @jbishphoto w/ @usernamethis
Panasonic GH4 and Pany 42.5mm f1.7 in the picture. I bought the body in 2014 and have been around the world with this small m43 4k sensor. Ive backpacked in 9 countries in Asia and South America with this setup and have been quite rough with my gear. This still makes great footage although the lack of IBIS is quite dated in 2020. Almost time to start pushing video sales again now that things are getting back to normal in Alberta. Alberta is almost fully operational which means that companies are spending money again. Selling T-shirts and hats has turned out harder than anticipated haha. Video is a cash cow and I need to stick with what Im good at. #grandeprairiealberta #grandeprairieab #grandeprairiephotographer #grandeprairierealestate #grandeprairiefitness #grandeprairiebusiness
Edmonton, Alberta during the #BLM protests Friday June 5th.
Some B-roll of the Adidas Falcon.
Today I dropped off the $300 of profit I made from designing and selling the GP food bank shirts. I could have increased my profit margins to 70% if I sourced the blanks from my online supplier but this was a learning experience. Shout out to @fullypromoted_gp for the print job. My Grande Prairie, Alberta focused merch will be available for purchase in the near future from my Shopify store. ... Follow my account @jpeg.email.apparel for my apparel focused ventures. A fun little sneaker video of the New Balance 311 that I picked up at the local GP Marshalls for $40.
Here is a recap video that I did for my T-shirt project where I donated 100% of my profits to the food bank here in Grande Prairie, AB . I go through how I turned $400 into $700 selling T-shirts and donating the profits to the food bank in Grande Prairie, AB. . In April I produced a video about Grande Prairie, AB during the quarantine. It showed some local businesses with signs of support in their windows. Some businesses had to shut down while others had to pivot and offer d...ifferent services in order to comply with the distancing rules. . After the video was out I produced a small run of shirts that I sourced and designed the graphics on. I sold them in town and sold out within a few days. . This video goes through some things that I learned doing this project. From the video production to the production and selling of the shirts through the internet. . I only have a limited quantity but can get more made if I get the views that my last GP video got. Local sales only at the moment. Send me a message if you want to buy.
