Open availability which includes daytime and weekends is preferred, but also evenings and weekends will be available too. Must be 15 years old or older.... We keep improving to help keep you safe and things running smoothly!! Starting today we have put in a queue line to help shoppers in the aisles be better social distanced from those waiting to cash out and eliminate some of the confusion on what cashier is available. Please bear with us while we figure out how to make this super efficient and get the right number of cashiers to keep the flow going over the next few weeks. We are all learning together and we are constantly working on helping to eliminate anxiety and chaos during the pandemic.

Quick reminder for our customers. Everyone is trying to deal with and mentally adjust to this newest wave of COVID and it is affecting all of us. While our staff is doing its best to clean, stay in stock and keep a positive mental attitude while working I need to put out another reminder about everyone having some extra patience and kindness for each other. We are starting to see an increase in frustrated people taking it out on other customers, our staff and on our cashier...s especially. Please understand that many of them are just as tired or scared about what is going to happen and have been out in front of this since March, doing their best to have a smile and give back to our community by staying positive and helping when you come through. If you feel frustrated or angry, stop and take a breath to remember our staff is constantly out in this before taking that frustration out on them. We have so many amazing customers come through our doors everyday and we truly appreciate all the nice words, comments and appreciation that we do get. We are all in this together and our community has done an amazing job keeping this under control. Let's keep it going and pass along some positive interactions with each other to help all of us get through this mentally. Remember that our community has some great mental health services available if you are feeling low, edgy and unsure of the future. Don't suffer in silence thinking you are the problem. This is tough on everyone. Even a simple call to a friend to chat about feeling low could change things. Supporting each other is how we got this far, let's keep it going and help each other mentally get through this.

Today is a day to remember those who have given so much. Our staff will be observing a moment of silence today at 11am, during this time we will not be serving anyone out of respect for those who have given their lives. We ask that any customers in our store at this time, please join us, stop for a minute and remember. The staff would also like to extend our appreciation to our soldiers serving around the world and here at home. Please stay safe and thank you for your service.

Please bear with us over the next few days if the mood in our store is a little down and we are half a step behind. Our staff has suddenly and unexpectedly lost a beloved member of our team for the second time this year. Many of our customers will remember Jane Burns as a friendly face who had a big smile for them during these tough times whenever they went through her till. It was this same smile along with her positive attitude and whole-hearted laugh that helped many... of the staff forget about their fears and focus on the bright side of things while coming in to make sure our community had food on their table throughout this pandemic. Please give the staff some patience and support over the next few days as we all work through this shocking loss. We will eventually all get our smiles back and begin to laugh again as we remember Jane's way of sharing hers with all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time as well. From Jeff, Tanis and all of her work family at NoFrills, we miss you and thanks for touching all of our lives in such a positive way.

Effective Friday, July 24th, 2020, customers and staff are required to wear a mask/face covering before entering Jeff & Tanis' No Frills. WOW.....what a community we have here!!! I want to give everyone a huge THANK YOU!! I will be honest.....this latest step of mandatory masks by our local Health Unit has given me a few sleepless nights on enforcing and educating this measure in our store. In true Hauler fashion, our community has once again stepped up to protect our most vulnerable population and embraced wearing the masks inside our location and have been practicing COVID-Kindness to the staff when reminde...d about new measure. I am so proud to be living in and supporting this community that helps take care of each other. We have come so far, please keep this up so we don't have to worry about a second wave. We know the masks can be cumbersome, they can be irritating and sometimes just downright annoying. But we have seen some amazing displays of creativity as many of you are embracing this and making it as fun as possible with some cool designs. In the spirit of community togetherness and support, feel free to message us your designs for us to post on our page and spread some positivity with this. A reminder that if you just aren't that comfortable about wearing one that we still have our PC Express on-line shopping service at our location. June 17, 2020.....part 2: Well we have some great Tech Teams!! Our systems are back up and running and we are open.. Sorry for the delays and we are good to go.... There may be a delay for PC Express orders over the morning, but we will catch up quickly.

June 17, 2020: Great news.....back up and running. We may be a little behind on PC Express orders and you will have to come into the store to pay. We are currently shut down due to some massive computer issues this morning which will not allow us to process any orders at the cash registers or access our systems. This includes PC Express orders, so please wait for a call before coming to get your order as we can't access your information to call right now either.... We apologize for this and are working as fast as possible to be open and running as normal again.

Store update June 9th, 2020: This week starts our regular hours of 8am-9pm 7 days a week. More hours for everyone to spread your hauling over. We have also increased our cashier presence to have the ability to open all tills on Thursdays to Sundays from 11am-6pm to help keep lines shorter during peak hours. We will only be using one belt per lane during these times to allow all customers to have their 6ft of space while packing at the end of the lane and still allow our cas...hier's time to clean. Biggest news.....we have opened up the 6pm slot for PC Express orders for those of you who are slowly getting back to work. Plus we have shortened the lead time for placing orders to 12 hours as we have completely cleared up our backlog of orders. You now don't have to put your orders in a week or two ahead of time!! Once your order is placed, you can get it 12 hours later now, if there are open time slots!! Thank you to everyone who has done their small part to help each other in our community during this crazy time and keep each other safe. Social distancing, hand sanitizing/washing, using PC Express, limiting number of shopping trips and only having one person per household shop has helped our community get through the majority of this crisis. We are not through this yet, but we are so close. Remember, we are all in this together. So keep up with the kindness to each other as everyone is frustrated with all the rules to keep all of us safe and healthy. Mental health is just as important as your physical health. Understanding, patience and kindness is what will protect everyone's mental health.

Great News! Effective this Sunday June 7th until further notice, we are open from 8:00AM to 9:00PM, 7 days a week!

Effective immediately, reusable bags and tote bins are now permitted in the store!!!! This also includes PC Express Online Shopping, you can again request no bags and pack your own groceries into your own bags/bins!

Store Update: As the local economy is getting back on track we are getting back to normal too. Here is some things happening over the next couple weeks: We are opening another PC Express slot next week (May 31, 2020) to keep up with demand and allow for more people to use this service. ... Fees are coming back as of June 5th for PC Express in the following manner: Monday-Wednesday $0 Thursday-Sunday $3 We will be moving away from our senior and at risk opening at 7:30am as we transition back to our regular hours in a couple weeks. We will have one more week of the early time and then move to being open at 8am until 9pm every day the following week. Opening the extra hours over the last couple of weeks has reduced customer congestion in the mornings and adding our regular hours back in the evening will help spread out people even more. All mornings are still great for at risk people and seniors as we aren't super busy and evenings after 7pm are also very quiet so we actually have more available hours for you to shop with limited contact by removing the 7:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and spreading it out over 7 days. We will be having more lanes open as well as we transition to these new hours to help eliminate line ups during peak times to help get everyone through quickly. We still need to keep going with the social distancing, product limits on some items, regular cleaning, sanitizing of carts and asking for one person shopping per household. We have truly appreciated everyone's understanding for all the changes over the past few months. Our community has stuck together and did what they could to help each other. Let's keep that trend going as we get back on our collective feet. We are getting through this together and are starting to come out the other side.

PC Express update: It has been a huge challenge to keep up with the sudden demand and changes to our business that this service required and we would like to extend a huge thank you to all our customers who have tried this service and been patient as we have gone through a huge learning curve. I am happy to announce that we have managed to get our new equipment to allow us to pick more orders, we have hired and trained more staff and have started to get ahead of our backlog o...f orders to the point where we now have only a couple days wait for an order slot to be available instead of the two week wait and some of the orders are getting picked and prepared a bit earlier than expected. As of this Sunday we will be opening up more slots per hour to expand this service even more. We will also keep expanding our order capacity over the next month, but will be doing it slowly to make sure we don't overwhelm ourselves. A couple reminders for using the service: - please wait for the email/text that tells you how many bags you have and what temperature zone they are in. If you come before that, we may still be packing your order and you may miss getting your receipt or have to wait until we have everything together. - you can now edit your order up to 24hrs before pickup now. The cutoff has been lowered from 48hrs. Thank you all for your patience with all the changes during these crazy times. We are starting to get to our new normal. Together we will all get through this.
