I think I'm fairly good at solutioneering - whether it's longer term vision or pulling an ass out of a fire (is that the expression?). But there's ALWAYS room for growth and improvement - and I love it! Adam Grant's Originals was excellent (highly recommended), and I loved his work with Sheryl Sandberg (Option B). Just got a copy of Think Again, and I'm looking forward to a few afternoons with a good mug of tea and new ideas. What are you reading? Something to shake up or a...dd to your tool kit? A pleasure read (no need for guilt!)? Something fun and funny? I'd love to know! https://www.forbes.com//is-that-the-best-solution-think-ag See more

Ooof. Happiness and Mental Health. Massive subject, for sure. Well-meaning (usually) people might suggest something along the lines of "Just try being happier!". You can imagine how helpful that is for most... There are elements in this article that could work for you - I recommend the read. I liked their positioning of well-being as a goal, instead of happiness. That kind of thinking works for me, I'll have to consider it more and see where the rumination leads! ... Hope you find it helpful and interesting - feel free to read it and share what you think! https://www.huffingtonpost.ca//be-happier-what-works_l_600

Yikes! Almost every single one of these resonated with me - ALMOST EVERY ONE. When we are in a pattern of reacting instead of responding, it's easy to lose track of things. Important things. Like drinking water and moving. ... Check out this list - how many of them are bad habits for you? https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/bad-work-from-home-habits-

I don't know that I'd call 2021 a nightmare, exactly - but it continues to be stressful for most of us, that's for sure! I've started a few wee rituals, especially around bedtime. A diffuser, a heating pad for my back, a guided recollection, and some environmental noises (birdsong, wind in the trees, rain) to help me drift away. I find that I'm sleep more deeply and waking feeling more rested. There are a lot of different things that we can be doing to help us relax or shed.../combat anxiety. I like this list - it covers a range of apps ranging from simplesimple to more complex and involved. There might be something in here that resonates with you and your style! Do you have any daily/nightly rituals that help you? Share away! https://gizmodo.com/the-best-apps-to-distract-your-brain-fr
