Currently in progress. I took a little holiday this week to pour out some of this creative angst. I have been dreaming of this painting since I took this photo of my daughter. So happy to see it take shape this week. I have been painting live every morning and evening and chatting about my process. You can catch these on my personal facebook profile, feel free to follow along.

I am so humbled at how fast these events are selling! It's wonderful to see so many of my clients come back. I can't wait to see how much your families have grown.

A lesson in patience. Wet on wet watercolours will bleed. #oops #figures #ArtTherapy #Watercolour #dailysketch

Every day I try to fit in 15 minutes of sketching. I use my sketchbook to try new mediums or techniques. Sometimes it's just just a doodle, other days I include tons of detail. I go with what inspires me that day. Some of them flop, but there are some real gems in here too. Hope you enjoy these little pieces as much as I did creating them.

One of the things my Dad John Nicholls taught me is to always have a creative project or 2 on the go. I don't think anyone can deny that I am a Nicholls through and through. Handpainted plywood sign on the go. Just one of the many projects I am working on this weekend.
