Though weary, we can stretch the wings our faith and fly! We can walk the path of obedience and not get tired. We can move through routine days and not grow weary! "For HE giveth power to the faint, and to them th...at have no might, HE increaseth strength" Isaiah 40:29 God bless us all!

A Christian is a living sermon whether or not he preaches a word! In Titus 3:1-8, Paul explains the life God enables us to live... a life of respect, obedience, and kindness that results from being reborn through Jesus and renewed by the Holy Spirit who has been poured out for us. As we live a Spirit-guided life, God will show the reality of His presence to others through us. "Dear Father in heaven, You know how inadequate I am. Please equip me through the Spirit to show love and respect in my life so that others will see through me and see You!!! In Jesus name, amen!"

What do we do when we are stuck in a troubling situation with no where to run? Maybe, like the disciples who were stuck in a life-threatening storm, we run to Jesus (mark 4:35-41). Trying to bail ourselves out of trouble by seeking revenge, or slandering the one who we think has caused our problem, or just cowering fearfully in the corner as we sink into despair is definitely not the answer. We need to learn from the disciples who fled to Jesus as their only hope. He may not... bail us out immediately, but remembering that He is in our boat makes a difference. He is always with us in any storm of life saying "peace, be still" (mark 4:39). So, look for Him in your storm and let Him fill you with the peace that comes from knowing HE IS NEAR! Just a prayer apart. Make Jesus your first option when the storms of life threaten you! Lord, teach us to run to you in the midst of trouble. Forgive us for trying to bail ourselves out by blaming others. Lead us Lord to the peace of trusting Your wisdom and ultimate deliverance. Thank you Lord! Amen!

Words to ponder: The sense of belonging Only Jesus can fill us with a sense of belonging like we've never known before! John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are man...y mansions....I go to prepare a place for you....that where I am, there you may be also! The thought of Jesus looking forward of returning to His heavenly home and taking us to Him, that where He is there we may also be, fills us with great anticipation and clear vision of self-belonging. One if my favourite song says: Chorus: Now I belong to Jesus Jesus belongs to me Not for the years of time alone But for Eternity!!! Praise the Lord!

Living beyond odds! God is always in control behind the scenes. Consider God's plan and miraculous deliverance for Peter in Acts 12:1-11 God can operate outside the odds because He is all- powerful. Nothing is too hard for Him. The One who loves us and gave Himself for us is in charge of our lives. In Ordinary circumstances and impossible situations, God can reveal His power. Whether we are showered with success or sustained in sorrow, HE is WITH US!

God comforts us so that we can comfort others! 2 Corinthians 1:7 As you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation. ... May we never leave someone to suffer alone. If we know the trail another is on, God will help us to guide that person to His presence... The SUREST comfort of all! Dear Lord, Help us to step forward when others around us are suffering trials similar to what we've been through. Enable us to be a comfort, as YOU have been to us in the past!!! Amen!

Please chase away destructive thoughts that keep returning to take away my confidence in You and Your work in me. I want to rest in you and Your love! Amen!
