Never in my life have I witnessed so much hatred, anger and judgmental posts and words as what has been flooding Facebook lately. Every second Christian seems to have an ample supply of stones, ready to pound anyone with different poltical, religious or personal beliefs to their own. You can choose what you want to say or write about others, but it comes with a price. The verse in the meme warns we will eat the fruit of our tongues; whatever we love, whether it is the fruit o...f death or life. Choose Life. Not death. Ingrid Brunkhorst Hurrell September 2019

If you are walking through a tough season at the moment, don't rely on those who don't understand your journey. It's easy to misunderstand another person or the path they are walking, and even easier to speak discouragement or unbelief over their lives. Guard your tongue. Speak only what comes from faith in God who knows all, and what has been saturated in Holy Spirit-prayer. Words have the power of death or life.... Speak His L I F E over those who are struggling, sick, lonely or filled with despair. And if you have been on the receiving side of critical, unloving and even cruel remarks; choose to respond with forgiveness. All the time, 70x7 times per day, per person! That's His plumb-line. Allowing toxic words to nest in your soul, will only lead to wounds in your own heart which will bear fruit of bitterness, unbelief and sorrow. Not worth it!
