Every month at Secular Synagogue, we highlight an area of social justice where our members can take action in their communities. In Tammuz, we want to focus our actions on equitable access to reproductive health education and services. We recognize that BIPOC women have historically been disproportionately disadvantaged and harmed by medicine that privileged other bodies, and to affect change we need to raise awareness and promote dialogue about barriers that persist.
