Don, along with his Brother,Bus, owned and operated Johnson Meats from 1962-1995. Although he doesn’t have Facebook, feel free to share a story in the commments he does enjoy remembering the names and faces and stories!

Hello everyone and thank you again for your continued support through this crazy year! Unfortunately,due to high volumes of cattle being booked during these uncertain times we will be taking a break from the wild game season for the first time in many years. We apologize and hope to be back to serve our hunters next year! Thank you!

Happy 58th birthday to Dean today!

Hello Everyone!, Although we dont post often we thought that we would share that 2019 is our 100th year of business in Aylmer! Johnson Meats was founded in 1919 by Charles Johnson ,grandfather of current owner, Dean. Taken over by his sons Don and Bus Johnson during the 1950's, Don and Bus built a brand new abattoir, the one still in use today. In 1995 Don handed the keys over to his son and current owners Dean/Darlene Johnson who continue the family tradition along with his... brother Mark with over 90 years of experience between them! Although there have been many changes and upgrades since 1919 our goal of providing quality meats to our local and surrounding communities has never changed. Thank you to our customers,as well as staff past and present for the years of support we could not do it without you!
