While it's perfectly normal to have some back pain during pregnancy, (You are creating a whole new life, after all!) there are things you can do to minimize it, like light exercise. Always check with your doctor before you try anything new, but low impact cardio can help relieve pain and maintain fitness.
It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It's necessary. -Mandy Hale Remember to take some time to just breathe this holiday season. All the things can wait.

Does it feel like you're stepping on spikes when you stand up and try to walk? Plantar fasciitis is a common and very painful foot condition that can become chronic if not treated. It is also a condition that responds really well to chiropractic care. Plantar fasciitis is caused when the ligament that connects your toes to your heel (the plantar fascia) becomes inflamed, swollen, and weak. It makes the bottom of your foot or heel hurt when you walk or stand, especially when ...you first wake-up or after sitting for a long time. The pain is usually sharp and stabbing. (Like standing on spikes or trying to walk on Legos.) Anyone can get it at any age, especially if they spend a lot of time on their feet. Chiropractic care is a great way to treat plantar fasciitis and the pain that comes with it. Dr. Jeff or Amanda will do adjustments to the feet and ankles as well as spinal alignment. This will help reduce the stress on the ligament, help it to heal and get rid of the pain. Not to mention getting you back to walking properly. One of the things we see with Plantar Fasciatis is secondary injury to the hips and back. When your feet hurt you change how you walk and that can throw all kinds of things out of alignment.
If we get cancellations we will post last minute available appointments here on our Facebook page, so make sure you're following us! :)
Seeing your chiropractor on a regular basis can boost your immune system significantly. Now might be a really good time to come in and see us. ;)
